OWB-L Pancake Kydex Holster : Chuckwalla Light Bearing

Outside Waist Band (OWB) Pancake Style Kydex Holster, Chuckwalla Edition.  This style of holster is nicknamed and assisted in design by Russell at sinistralrifleman.com to help protect slide mounted optics from physical and environmental shooting matches.  A flush and stylish pancake style holster for on the belt, open carry.  This will sit higher up and very close to the body, aiding in mobility around obstacles and barriers.  Light bearing kydex holsters require the use of the weapon light to have any retention.

Optic / Threaded Barrel Cut: This style holster features a shroud to protect the slide mounted optic.  Its based on -most- popular slide mounted optics.  It doesnt hurt to list your optic in the order comments so we can check clearance.  Threaded Barrels require the bottom of the holster to be opened more than normal to be able to pass through. Select which options you would like for your holster.  Holsters can always be modified if you decide to add a larger optic or longer barrel in the future.  The Threaded Barrel option DOES NOT count for an aftermarket compensator.

Sweat/Shirt Guard: The sweat guard is the part of the inside of the holster that extends from above the trigger guard to the top back of the slide. The sweat guard not only protects the firearm from sweat, oils, and clothing, but some shooters find it aids in the re-holstering of the firearm.  Our standard for this style of holster is a Mid Sweat guard, we feel the selected gun/option needs a lower one due to slide details, optic cuts, safeties or slide lock levels.  Because we mold our holsters with training replicas, the safely is in the fire position if applicable.

Belt Hardware: Standard belt loops are durable and strong injection molded wing loops available in 2 popular belt sizes.  An alternative is the Speed Clips, also available in 2 belt sizes, but these allow easy on and off without removing the belt.  Although not as secure as a closed loop, some prefer this option if you find yourself removing the holster often in your daily routine.
